2020 Chevrolet Equinox New Model Design
2020 Chevrolet Equinox. A car sharing its structure with Invision, a Chinese-made crossover. After meeting with the heavy opposition of WoW, GM decided to build Equinox in the United States, unlike his close brothers. One of the biggest changes to the new car is the weight. Simply put, today was a great day at the Eves Auto Group. We woke up with a slight spring in our step, we do not really know why. Then, when we got to the agency, the news was right there on our desks: we received photos and details of the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox, which was completely redesigned. Let’s not even mess here, guys. Let’s get goodies right away. After rumors have been really long, General Motors has finally released a new 2020 Chevrolet Equinox brand and so far seems to be a much better car than before. For starters, it gets more efficient engines, the most beautiful overall construction quality seems to be much better equipped by.
Because the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox is near 4 inches shorter and has a 4 inch shorter wheelbase you would think there is less pace at home. Fortunately this is not the case. Thanks to the new platform, the interior of the cabin is identical to the old one, which is impressive. The design has also changed significantly. The dashboard is all new and features a design cues from GM sedans. The center stack is more curved and features either a 7 or 8 inch screen, and the controls for the HVAC system are right where the driving position should be great. In fact, it is lower than in its competitors making it feel more sporty than it really is.
The material is also much improved on the older model with inserts such as denim on the dashboard and the plastic is really nice quality. The new 2020 Chevrolet Equinox is not only the best looking car but also the best fit one too. The front end of the new Chevrolet is characterized by the two separate companies. The back of the other hand has a truly European influence on it that really distinguishes it from competition. The smaller overall footprint can be easily seen from the look, but thanks to the new lines that rotate across the sides, it seems just right.
Instead of the old 2.4 and 3.6 liter engines, the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox now has three different generating engines. The basic car gets a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4 that has 170 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, a good compromise on the older 2.4-liter engine. On the other hand, the old V6 was replaced by a 2-liter turbocharger with 252 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Both of these should feel as fast as before while offering much better fuel economy. The third engine is the 1.6-liter turbo diesel with 136 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. This should be good for about 40 MB on the highway and up to 31 MB in the city. The front drive will be a standard while every steering wheel will be an option. The two smaller engines will have six automatic speeds and a larger 2-liter unit will have a nine-speed automatic transmission.
GM claimed that the new Equinox lost as much as 400 pounds of weight across the model range. This is a rather large loss, and it will put it in close competition with the K-V or escape. The new D2XX platform is not only lighter but is also significantly tougher than before. This allows GM to improve NEV levels very little. Unfortunately though, even if the car is displayed, it will not go on sale for a few more months. Its price is likely to take a small lift on the current model. We expect a new base model to start at about $24,000 which is still a good value for a car that offers a lot of features. It is expected that the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox to reach the agents during the first quarter of 2019,
