2019 Silverado 2500HD. In order to be as good as rumors say it will, the new Silverado 2500HD will have to employ some truly unique technologies. For starters, just as with its competitor, the new model of Silverado 2500HD features aluminum construction. This is not confirmed by the cloud so far. However, it seems that the roof, doors, bonnet and bumpers have all aluminum. However, it is expected to be made of steel. The cab and the bed of this new 2019 Silverado 2500HD will be allowed to be slightly lighter than before without compromising the structural hardness. The steel bed also means that the truck will be able to carry a much higher load than its main competitor that will give it a huge shot.
The price is still unknown but we doubt too much will change on the current model. Diesel is a controversial word in the United States. Most thanks to Volkswagen and its immature movement, the image of diesel has been distorted in a powerful way, that many are occupied by future diesel future predictions of demise. Even without the notorious Diesel, the fuel for automatic combustion was always on the margins of the American automotive world. However, no one can deny some of the virtues they carry with themselves, and even on the left side of the North Atlantic has become an inevitable part of the world’s heavy trucks. Massive torque and sipping fuel are not painted in light trucks “smelly” game to call recently, but times are completely changed.
Although GM has not released a single image of a truck in the future, we were lucky enough to see a camouflage test. It looks like 2019 Silverado 2500HD will be significantly different from its predecessor. The most obvious change must be the round wheel arches that were previously rectangular. Furthermore we can also see some interesting design lines through the thick camouflage. It looks like Chevrolet is looking to deliver a more muscular design than before while also having a more airy truck. At the front it seems that the Silverado 2500HD will get split headlights, a larger dye than before, as well as a lower air plug.
Moreover, the back door also seems to be all new and may even feature a modular design but this has not been confirmed yet. As we said, the current model is certainly the best interior in the market. However, the 2019 Silverado 2500HD may be better than its predecessor. This can be achieved by giving the truck a cleaner look inside the cabin. We expect a more minimal design of the center stack, possibly a digital tool block as well as a slightly higher driving position. This alone should improve the inside experience immensely without compromising on anything.
So far it seems that both the 4.3 liter V6 and the larger 5.3-liter V8 may be moved to 2019 Silverado 2500HD. Like most other redesigned, though Silverado 2500HD is expected to get a bump in energy and fuel efficiency. Both engines are expected to have a revised fuel delivery system, possibly the best engine management software as well as better exhaust. The 6.2 liter natural V8 inhale with a 420 horsepower is also to be seen again. This time around it is expected to make nearly 450 horsepower and more than 460 lb-ft of torque.
All engines will feature a standard 10-speed automatic transmission and options from rear wheels or four-wheel drive. Some rumors also suggested the truck received a new V8 Duhk. Unfortunately, this is extremely undesirable because this type of engine is known to make most torque at high ram. However, you may receive additional engine, possibly diesel but so far not much information is provided for it.
The cash required for the basic model would remain almost unchanged – $29,000. This number will greatly increase the high-end high-country version – more than $60,000. As mentioned earlier, Chevrolet will unveil a new 2019 Silverado 2500HD by the end of 2018.
