2019 Mercedes A Class. Mercedes is designed as a competition for the Audi A3, the BMW 1 Series and the Volkswagen Golf, says the 2019 Mercedes A Class is a “new interpretation” of the current design, confirming our first look at the new car in the evolving metal of the outgoing model. The 2019 Mercedes A Class is packed with stunning, easy-to-use technology that makes the cabin stunning, everything else looks old-fashioned, but the alternatives are better for driving. The car certainly looks smart, with its soft lights and soft body panels that make it look like a pebble that was rubbed smoothly after years at sea. But the truth is, once you see the cottage, you will definitely forget what the rest of the car will look like.
Three levels will be offered to buyers: SE, Sport and AMG. The standard range in all vehicle configurations includes aluminum wheels, DAB radio, leather and leather upholstery, Active Road Preservation Assistant, Keyless Start function, and Air Conditioning. If you want a revolution, rather than a development, look inside. The innovative design (first seen last year) features a pair of independent instrument panels and turbocharged ventilators, with ambient lighting used to accentuate the discrete parts of the dashboard. It does not look just different. It works very differently, too, using the Mercedes-Benz user experience system we first saw at CES in January. Not only can this be learned through artificial intelligence, it can be customized and adapted to every user.
This means that digital screens can be set up to display the preferred combination of driver information the way they want. Moreover, the system learns if you call people themselves or set up specific radio stations at certain times of the day; if you do, the system will suggest them to the driver in a timely manner. Similarly, if the driver determines what the system recognizes as an ordinary destination, the navigation will begin automatically in the background; once the driver has confirmed the destination, all information about the route, such as congestion and any other problems, will already be available. The system also provides access to the Mercedes-Benz ‘connection’ services.
This includes everything from additional mobility features to an office in the car and the ability to book your car remotely. Drivers can control the new information and entertainment system 2019 Mercedes A Class in various ways – through voice control, touch screen, touchpad on the center console or touch sensitive panels on the steering wheel. The standard system has a pair of 7-inch screens, one in the center of the car as a touch screen. Buyers will then have the option of upgrading, either via a 10.25-inch touchscreen or 10.25-inch monitors. The upper display can also be installed as an additional option. One of the most interesting features is the Compact Reality navigation, which magnifies navigation information on top of a live video image taken by the front camera. The voice control system is also said to be very sophisticated and activated either by pressing a button on the steering wheel or by saying “Hey Mercedes”, just like the Siri system on the iPhone.
According to the company, the system can recognize the daily language, rather than simply respond to the orders placed. For example, Mercedes says it will not only respond to indirect comments such as “I’m cool” instead of “temperature to 24 degrees”, and it can also learn new words, as it takes information from both internal and cloud programs. In the meantime, passengers will appreciate additional space indoors, with more shoulders, elbow, and height, plus easy access to the rear seats. The shoe, too, is larger, while the aperture is wider, the rear seats can be placed more vertically to take the huge objects in the shoe, and there is more storage space in the cabin. There are also various features that are more automatically connected to luxury cars in the new 2019 Mercedes A Class. Therefore, buyers can choose heating and ventilation as well as a massage system for front seats. Similarly, some advanced driver and safety assist systems have been introduced from the luxurious Mercedes A Class S-Class in 2019.
This means that new hatchback can drive almost independently in certain positions, with the camera and radar systems visible up to 500 meters in the front. Active Resistor Distronic will maintain a distance behind the car in the front and help guide, even in corners. Moreover, it also uses map data to adjust the speed of the car approaching the bends or rotors. Each model in the range will come with the active brake assist system (which can help to mitigate or possibly prevent the impact of a rear impact) and the Attention Assist, which will warn the driver if signs of fatigue appear. Among the options are the Multibeam LED headlamps. With 18 individual LED lights in each lamp, it can be automatically adjusted to the driving mode.
There will always be a full range of engines, but at launch, the 2019 Mercedes A Class will come with only three engines. All these units are new turbochargers, and the A 200 is equipped with a 1.4 liter petrol engine with a capacity of 1.4 liters and is developing 161bhp. When combined with the dual-clutch automatic transmission, it has a cylinder closure technology that helps save fuel consumption of 53.3mpg and CO2 emissions by 120g / km. There is also a more powerful turbocharged engine of 222bhp with a capacity of 2.0 liters. Meanwhile, to start, the only diesel option is A 180d. This 1.5 liter turbocharged unit raises 114bhp, increased fuel consumption by 68.9mpg, and exports 108g / km of CO2.
There will also be a four-wheel drive, along with three suspension options. As an alternative to the standard order, buyers can choose a setting of less than 15 mm, specially designed to give sports handling or active control in damping. With this system, drivers can not only choose their preferred damping properties, the system also uses information from the transmission, brake, steering and motor to adjust the suspension accordingly. For example, when the vehicle is accelerating or brakes, the damping is discouraged to reduce discharge or roll the body.
Now the first British customers are sold in May, with the price initially reaching £30,240. The new 2019 Mercedes A Class models for 2019 will be priced from £25,800, the German brand confirmed, with the debut of the first hatchback at the Geneva Motor Show.
